New Coupon Program-Saving Star-Good at Raley’s, Rite Aid, and CVS!

Well, I got an email about this the other day, and have been trying to see if this is worth it, but since I shop mainly at Raley’s and CVS, I figure this is definitely worth signing up for.

Here is how it works- I cut and pasted this from the site

 

  1. Select the eCoupons you like on the website or mobile app, and they are automatically linked to your store card(Extra Care Card-CVS, and Wellness Card from Rite Aid).  Raley’s – Register the Quality of Life card available at each store. (get this at Customer Service!)
  2. Use your card when you checkout and the money is added to your SavingStar account. The savings don’t change your bill at the register and the savings are not printed on the receipt. Instead, they get deposited into your account within 7-30 days depending upon where you shop.
  3. Once your SavingStar account reaches $5 in savings, you can pick your payout from a bank account deposit, a PayPal account deposit, an Amazon gift card(my choice!), or a donation to charity. More options to come!

    **I am for making money, and since it goes right in my account, there really isn’t any effort since you don’t have to even cut any coupons out either!!

When I was volunteering at church, a friend of mine kept telling me about using coupons and how you can save all this money buying stuff at the store. I thought “I can’t really save that much using coupons, besides with me, my husband, and 7 kids I just need to be used to spending a lot because we use a lot.”

Well, I homeschool my children, and since my wonderful husband gave me my own laptop for Mother’s Day, and I had a child struggling in math, in between math problems, I started looking into this whole coupon thing.

When I saw what other people were getting with coupons, and the crazy prices they were getting it for, I was convinced. I started printing out coupons while my kids did school, and having them cut them out when they were done!
