Here is a good way to bribe your kids into getting some stuff done!! In the past they have allowed you to get 3 scoops per person at the $.31 price. I am going to tell my kids they ‘earn’ a scoop for each of the 3 things they are going to do tomorrow! I am sure I have lots of coupons they can cut for me!!! I suggest going early. We have been after 6 and the line has been long. But, if you go early you can go home and put it in the freezer until after dinner!

Get Ready for Cinco De Mayo!
Cinco de Mayo is coming! (May 5th) So that means that all the Cinco de Mayo related food is going to be on sale. This is when you want to STOCK UP on as much as you can! Keep your coupons handy for the following items-

Plus, there will be deals on meat too! So look at the expiration dates, and think how much you will use before it expires and get them NOW. Remember meat, cheese, and tortillas will freeze!
OK, so all of my grocery ads came in the mail, and they all mention this Moments to save coupon circular that will be in the paper Sunday! $20 of coupons for Pepsi,$1 off Tostitos, $2 off 3 Quaker cereals, $2 off 2 lays, Gatorade, and Tropicana!!! I will DEFINITELY be getting LOTS of these! CVS I know is having $5 Extra Bucks when you spend $15 on items in this insert! I will update more as soon as I find out!!
Right now you can print a coupon for $5 off Tylenol Precise from the Tylenol website! The best thing to do is save this coupon for TWO WEEKS from now at Rite Aid.You will want to print this now in case it is gone before the sale starts! I always buy toothbrushes like this when they are good deals. The Kids Spinbrush where you can decorate your toothbrush for girsl was such a hit with my kids! I even bought some for their friends and they took an hour getting their toothbrush ready to use! It was a lot of fun. So, even if you don’t need thme or use soemthing else, these do not expire and you can put them away for special gifts for stockings, or when you need a birthday gift for one of your kids to give!

If you watched TLC Extreme Couponing show, and want to know if it is possible…YES….and NO. The women(and men) on the shows that buy tons of stuff and pay hardly any money actually spend HOURS of time planning and BUYING coupons online. It is not a representation of a ‘typical’ coupon shopper. Using coupons can help you DRAMATICALLY cut your grocery and household budget, and actually be able to get MORE items than you have ever been able to buy. Then you can maintain your spending at a lower amount and be able to use your money for other expenses or FUN stuff!!
It doesn’t happen overnight, but once you learn the basics and do it for a couple months, it gets easier and your savings get BIGGER!
