OK. I went to Target to get a few things…Before coupons, my total was $84. After Coupons, I paid $12.38. Now, I was expecting it to be a little more~I bought 2 Clearance T-Shirts for $2.50 each! But..some of the things I bought, my coupons were OVER the amount of the items. This is called OVERAGE. Most stores do NOT allow overage, but sometimes the system allows it. Now, the store gets reimbursed for the FULL amount of the coupon, so they are not losing out at all.
Here are the items that gave me OVERAGE-
The Goodlife Recipe Cat Food
These were on CLEARANCE for $.65 each. I had coupons for $1 off and $1.50 from Redplum.com
When the coupons were scanned, they took off the amount of the coupon, not the item.
=$.35-$.85 overage
Excedrin Extra Strength
These were priced $3.69 each
I had $3 off Target Coupon
and $2.50 off Manufacturers Coupon
For each $3.69 I had $5.50 subtracted
=$1.81 overage

You can get Up and Up Toothbrushes for $.02!
Not a great picture, but these toothbrushes are $1.02 and you can print the $1 off any Up and Up Oral Care item from Target.com. These are good spares for when the kids have friends over!
I also did the Glade deal. On the scented oil candles, there are $1 off Peelies. The Peelies can be used on the refills too! I paired this with the $1 off Target Coupon. It isn’t available anymore, but if you printed it, it makes a good deal for the Buy 5 get a $5 Gift Card!
If not you can buy 5, use 5-$1 off peelies, pay $7.50 and get $5 back=$.50 each!
The other cool thing I found was that the Planters snack size peanuts and cashews were on sale for $.79 and $.99. If you printed the Target Coupon that says $.50 off Planters, then you can get the packs for $.29!
I paired the Facebook Wheat Thin Stix with the nabisco Target Coupon=$.50 each

If you do not have the Target coupons to do the same deals~They will come around again! The best thing to do is just print them all when they come out, and hold onto them until a sale happens. Target eventually has a sale for the items they put coupons out for, you just may have to wait for it. I printed out the Excedrin Coupons even though I would not use it, but now I ended up getting the overage for my other items, so I am glad I did!
