If you are like me, you may read multiple coupon blogs before planning your shopping-I even recommend it.  There are so many great deals out there, it is impossible for one person to find them all! BUT remember, just because one website says you can get all this great stuff for a really good deal, does not always mean you can too.  Here are some things I have learned…

Depending on the area that the blogger lives in, the stores in their area may have different prices, coupon availabilities, and resources.
I admit that I have read someone’s great coupon scenario and ran to the store with the same coupons–only to find my prices were different, the cashiers were different, and it was just a big waste of time!!
So-sometimes on pantryoverflow.com you may not see some of the great deals others have posted, because I don’t like to post things that have not been confirmed.
This is how I confirm that a deal is accurate.
If it is on another website, I try to see where they live and see if it is near me because then the prices may be similar. Then if I can’t tell or they are far, I READ THE COMMENTS on the blog entry. Alot of times people will comment -they tried it and it worked, or-they tried it and it did not work-Ususally they will say why it didnt work, or how to make it work easier. 
Also- READ YOUR COUPON-a lot of times something seems really exciting, it gets posted, and it turns out that someone did not read the coupon correctly.
The other way I confirm things that seem really good, is that I actually go to the store and check for myself. That is why I don’t always have things posted as soon as some other blogs. I am fortunate to live VERY close to a lot of stores, so sometimes I just run in and check some things really quick.

So..my daughter  had a math class so i got my stuff ready to run over to Rite-Aid to do a quick trip. I was SOO happy they had everything in stock I wanted and when I got to the register the cashier said…We can only take cash right now, our systems are down, and +UpRewards arent’t printing either…That REALLY bummed me out, because I don’t know when I will be able to go again. Usually I do not spend this much on a trip to Rite Aid, but I have been waiting for a good cereal deal and the MiniWheats come out to $.94 each, and they actually fill up my kids!!
So it isn’t quite a money maker BUT it is a money-saver for me.

FYI-they have a good deal on SoyJoy bars if you use your Buy2 get 1 Free, print the $1 off 3, and then use your video value coupon, BUT-the RiteAid by me said they are discontinuing SoyJoy bars and did not have them in stock-PLUS my kids think they are NASTY, but with the right coupons if you find them they come to $.19 each.
